While uploading the asset, the user is requested to write the documentation (How To's) for the understanding of the application. So, what if the user has the documentation (How To's) as a ".docx" or a ".pdf" file.

It will be helpful, if there is an attachment option. So that the users can be able to upload the documents or any other supported attachments.

Hi @Nandhakumar S ,

this would be a good a nice to have. But the user can also just copy the text from their .docx/.pdf file and just paste it on the documentation section. Pretty quick and simple. I do think the effort to implement this does not make sense at the moment, as it would not add much value to the user.

Best regards,

Lourenco Matalonga

Hi @Lourenço Matalonga,

Yeah, I already had a thought of what you have said, but having an attachment option will increase the user experience on my perspective and on other hand, think that the user is having a perfectly aligned document with images and once again making him to align those stuff will not be the good way I feel.

Nandhakumar S.

Yes if it is a full document with images etc... i guess it would definitely make sense and help improve the user experience.

Hi @Lourenço Matalonga,

Yeah, I would definitely agree with your opinion. While uploading asset on forge i too faced the same problem instead of directly uploading the documentation we need to write there itself. This may leads to skipping contents without our knowledge.
