Seeing the input parameter's default value on the input/dropdown as a placeholder would be a QoL improvement over having to mouseover it to see the full details.
Example implementation:
I would disagree on this one. If you do this you could give the suggestion that this value is intentional set on this property. If the default for some reason changes, would you then expect to have the visible value to also be changed? And if so, would this not be confusing when you open an older version for comparison? And if no, why would you want to stick to the old default value instead of the new one?
I rather have it blank as is now. It would be nice if the tooltip would behave a bit better (there is currently a bug where the tooltip disappears immediately even when the mouse is still on the property) and the default value would be more prominent in this tooltip.
