Support for Option Groups in Drop Down Menus

<select>
   <optgroup label="option group name 1">
      <option>item 1</option>
      <option>item 2</option>
   </optgroup>
   <optgroup label="option group name 2">
      <option>item 1</option>
      <option>item 2</option>
   </optgroup>
</select>

In a one to many relationship allowing the one to be the optiongroup and the many to be the selectable options.
I use this all the time in standard websites, however there is no support for it in outsystems.

There's a number of components implementing stuff similar to what you request, like http://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/169/Category+Dropdown/ for example...

Thanks Pedro! This does achieve the desired outcome. However, installing an additional component means that we have to keep it and all of its dependencies up to date, as well as deal with the additional publish time because of it.

The reason I posted this here is because option group is a native feature of HTML and should not require a hack/plugin/component to accomplish after the fact. The footprint of native OS support for this would be much less from every angle, should they include it.

As someone who does a lot of front end work, I would like the web development IDE that I am using to at least natively support the features of the platform(html) it is based on.
