Preventing Duplicate Questions from the Same User

Hello Community,

I've noticed a recurring issue in our forum – duplicate questions from the same community members. This can clutter the space and make it challenging for both users and moderators. To address this, I propose implementing a feature that prevents users from posting the same question multiple times.

Duplicate questions not only make it harder to manage the forum effectively but also impact the overall user experience. The proposed solution involves introducing a system that detects and restricts users from posting identical questions if they have already done so before. This system could be based on the question's content or a unique identifier tied to the user account.

The implementation details could involve using natural language processing algorithms to determine question similarity. Additionally, a notification system can inform users that their question resembles a previously posted one.

Best Regards

Great idea, and then you have even people themselves creating the same question more than once, or a whole team posting the same question multiple times because they are working on the same issue.

Furthermore, the feature could be used to minimize the double posted ideas on the outsystems.com/ideas page.

Currently, moderators like me take care of these tasks.
