Agreed
Yes, +1 here....
Because of the lack o this feature, one has to think twice before organizing all that user actions...
When you drag an action to a folder or out of a folder, retain the Action GUID so that if the action is being referenced by other Espaces that you only have to refresh the Espace references and not have to manually reselect all of the broken links.

Merged from 'Action Drag & Drop To Folder - Retain Action GUID' (idea created on 2012-12-05 15:53:33 by Rebecca Hall), on 2014-01-24 12:12:31 by Gonçalo Borrêga
This is the one single thing that holds me back reorganizing our eSpaces since we use version 6. As a work-around I keep all the public actions outside folders, and put all others inside. But then when merging with older versions, instead of just a move you'll see a "does not exist" on both sides, which is rather annoying. So a total Like! on this one.

Currently when you move 1 or more actions from Folder1 to another Folder2 or into the root node. The consumer application referencing those actions would no longer be able to find the actions.

There should be a action move detection,  to determine that the action has been moved to another location by verifying the action id.

cannot make like! Outsystems is blocking likes on this one probably...
When we move a public action to another folder, the consumers espaces lose the reference to this action.
We have to add it again.

This is a duplicate and should be merged with: https://www.outsystems.com/ideas/1393/moving-actions-to-a-different-folder-should-not-break-consumers-references/

Filipe, please make sure you can add your like or we will need to troubleshoot the problem.

We don't block anything, this is an open community ^^

Still waiting after 5 years...

Hey guys,

OutSystems 11 was just released and I'm happy to announce that, from now on, changing folders will not affect the consumer references.

Justin, as usual, you can find a personal thank you in this version's release notes:

Keep the ideas coming!
