Blazing Fast 1-Click Publish

By Tiago Simões on 17 May 2010
Make Run and 1-Click Publish work almost instantaneous so the experience of debugging and making small changes can be more like the fast flow experienced in the interpreted languages.

depends what you mean with blazing fast :)

think it depends on the server itself.

however, it would be really great when you only change some styling and/or javascript you don't get the full deploy/build, but simply copying the new javascript/styling

It would saves much time if this could be happen, formaly for smaller changes (like lay-out).

Maybe a second button (small change run :))

10x less time would be nice :)

Make them as fast as in your demos! :)

First is good to know you saw our demos :). Second, as you probably noted, most of these demos use very simple eSpaces, very small and thus very fast to publish! It's not magic....but yes it is very important the deployment time. We are working on it.

Guys, any news about this stuff? I'm a very new OS member, and my background experience as developer comes from interpreted platforms. When I saw this topic and that you are working on it... Wow... Maybe the perfection is possible. Pethaps it would be a Truechange role, what do you think?
