It does not take up any backend processing power, neither does it take up any storage space in the servers. It's all frontend. Why the cost of AO for using Local Storage?

Fully agree, even though it adds value for a customer to have an app with local storage, in terms of cloud costs there are zero for OutSystems.

I really like this idea. Any local table will have 1 or more backend tables that will be loaded when the local tables have to sync ... so those local table AOs would technically be counted 2 times.

ya i agree
Since local storage is purely frontend and doesn’t use backend processing or storage, there shouldn't really be a cost to it. Any charges around its use might be due to additional services like data syncing, user management, or optimization efforts, but not for the storage itself.
