I think it's a painfull process continuing suspended process instances after a deploy. I have to select processes one by one manually while users interact with the system AND the suspended processes. And if I have a huge number of process instances suspended when 'stopping production' is undesirable, it's gonna be a huge problem. And sometimes, most times, the changes in processes are to small.
It would be so interesting if I could, before the deploy, programmatically determine how the instances must continue.
Other tools would be great too, such as, estimate the number of instances affected before the deploy, improve the validation of process impact of the deploy process.
