With Platform 9 Amsterdam we're releasing an opt-in capability that allows automatic concatenation of your CSS files (in a traditional OutSystems app, automatic javascript concatenation results in actual loss of performance according to our benchmarks - we leave that to your own control). More details available at the end of this page
Does it also minifiy the files?
Hello Robert,
The files aren't minified. Actually our benchmarks shown that by removing all the whitespaces in order to compact the CSS content didn't lead to a gain of performance.

Goncalo, Sara, interesting... 1) are you able to provide test results of your findings? 2) which file type was minify in your test results? Just css or also Js and html? 3) Are you minifying on the fly or is the output pre-minified? 4) when you minifiy, do you use ang compression? If so which one.
You can find the results of our research here. The files minified were the CSS and JavaScript, and these were pre-minified. Regarding the compression which is gzip, this is already enabled by the application server.
i find a free online service to minify javascript and compress css, so it will reduce the size of web page.

Hi,

Where is this being implemented? Is there a Forge component for this feature? Was this issue ever resolved?

I am working with the most recent version of OutSystems (10.0.815.0). I am currently using Google Chrome as my browser. I have a popup that when clicked, takes between 2-8 seconds to load. When I looked in the Chrome Developer tools, I noticed that a reason it is taking this long is because it is running 15 scripts and 5 css stylesheets. The Initiators are all the same, but the name of the js and css files are different.

Thanks in advance
