Hmmm.. it already exists. It's called "Screen action" !?

I think maybe he wants to call this after the intial rendering, so this way he doesn't need to worry about the binding wiping some things out?

I was trying to call a screen action from my preparation but couldn't. I'd prefer to have my code in one place rather than duplicating it. I have a graph on the screen that requires a complex calculation and I'd like it shown with default information when the screen is first rendered. At the moment I have the calculation in a screen action and also the preparation.  I'd be happy to hear how other users would approach this

I'd put the calculations in a separate action under "logic", call it from Prep and the Screen Action, then do the assign and refreshes as needed in prep and screen action.
