Option to create a new 'record' within the 'ListAppend/Insert' action

It would be nice if I can use the ListAppend/Insert, and just select the variables to create a record, so I don't need to define the record first, assign values and than use the listAppend/Insert.

I would call this idea "ListAppendNew" action (took some time to understand the idea). I like it though!!

Similar to the Mapping assignment of two structures of different types, it would be useful to be able to configure the mapping of structures of the same type, either lists or single records.

This would help save quite a few for-each loops, for instance, to set a fixed value to an attribute of every element of a list.

Hey guys,

I just merged this idea with a more generic one: rather than applying it just for list append, this idea applies to all scenarios where you need a record or record list when, for example, you are calling an action.

Thanks for the ideas, we will consider this in the near future ;)

Hey Hans,

OutSystems 11 was just released and I'm happy to announce that, from now on, every time you need to pass some record or record list to another context (action, screen, etc) you can do it inline by creating inline record/record lists.
