Having common search in Add/Remove Dependencies

Do you ever think to have common search in Add/Remove Dependencies window instead of module specific search?

When you have more number of modules, and no sure which module you need to click for adding any public component, it is good to have common search which displays the public element with the module heading.

This way we can select the right component, if we have more that one elements in same name.

It would be great to have the possibility to search by any referenceable element inside Manage Dependencies, instead of searching only inside each eSpace.

Two very common use cases for this are when we move actions to different eSpaces, for architecture issues and also when we need to search for a certain element and we can't remember the name. For bigger factories, this can be an awesome tool.

Combine the "Search Producers" and "Search public elements" filters in one!

Hi, Sridhar Sivaprakasam!

I'm glad to tell you that we've just implemented your idea! 

With today's version of Service Studio (O11 SS Release 27), it is now possible to find public elements across all Modules in an Environment and add them as dependencies. 


Just be aware that to use this feature your environment must be upgraded to O11 PS April version or higher. :-)
