Refresh option in view data in OutSystem v10.

OutSystems 10

When you choose view data on an entity, you don't have the possibility to refresh this data. When the data has changed and you want to check this, you must go first to another entity and then go back to see the changes in the data.

Is it possible to get a refresh option when you are viewing data on an entity?

Hi Jan Hidding,

The most recent released version of Development Environment (10.0.502.0) already has that feature.

To Refresh the preview data, you have a shortcut (SHIFT+F5) for that.

Is that enough?

Let me know if you have any feedback on this.

Cheers

The new "View Data" functionality in P10 is awesome! However, it would be great if there was a way to refresh the data being displayed. I'm testing a mobile app and using Service Studio to inspect the data, and in order to refresh it I need to close "View Data" and open it again.

Yes, a 'Refresh Data' link to the right of Filters and Sorting would improve developer workflow.

It would be nice to have a refresh button to refresh the data on the View Data screen.

Currently, you have to perform View Data on a different table and then View Data again on the table you wanted to have refreshed.

Hi Nuno Maurício

The current (SHIFT+F5) shortcut is not obvious on/in the interface. It is stated in the release notes, but not everyone will read through the notes of all previous releases to see if the feature has been added.

Perhaps a small tooltip/note to make users aware of this?

Just noticed that the refresh is also available when you right-click anywhere on the result grid. Nice. Still not obvious or easy to find.
