Multi column combo box

By Dick Dokter on 14 Jul 2010

At the moment it is only possible to use 1 attribute in 'source attribute' of a combobox.

When I want for instance the sequence + description ( 100 | My description) in the droplist I need to create a structure and use an advanced query to create the source record list.

It would be much easier to change the ' source attribute' property in an expression so it becomes possible to combine fields of the 'source record list' to populate the Droplist.

This would be very helpful, indeed.

I like this idea, also the align would be much better than just attaching all the data to one string

When I drag a foreignkey on an edit screen, the dropdown is automatically created.
However I can select only one attribute for display.

I would like to be able to concatenate more attributes.
Eg. FirstName + LastName

I know I can do this by using an extra query ... but would be nice to do this right away.

I think this the same Idea as Multi column combobox. I would like to have this feature not only in the edit screen but this should be possible with every droplist (combobox).

The Source Attribute property of the ComboBox needs to be converted to an expression!
This would be a very helpful change.
