Allow to force the application users logout

Due to maintenance proposes, it would be nice to force the application users logout.

It would be nice to have available one option to clear all the application user sessions and force the users to login.

Hi Daniel,

When you say maintenance proposes, are those maintenance tasks that take a lot of time and you want your applications clear of users, meaning that the system should prevent users login during those events?

Or is something related to change users permission and you want to force users to logout and login to get the new permissions?

During planned maintenance windows/deployments:

- Should be possible to prevent new users login during those events (I don't want to bring any specific application offline), just to avoid the new users to login in my entire factory or specific application.

- Should be also possible to kick-out users, to prevent any user of accessing any screen or functionality during that time window (to grant new permissions its also a good scenario).

Hi Daniel,

I understand your point. You have other way to achieve this by implementing some code. 

Also it really depends on the use case, because in certain scenarios the user can loose the work if the systems automatically logout the users.

We will keep an eye on the community adoption and include on the backlog if we get more info.
