Allow comments on Design Screens

I would love for us to be able to put comments in the un-utilised areas around the canvas in mobile apps and reactive apps.

Similar to the way the comments in Action screens work, these could be used for comments on why something has been put in, or reminders for development work yet to complete on this screen, or bugs to fix.

The comment widget would need to be added to the widget tray on the left, and then it could be dragged to the grey background.

This comment functionality should also be available in reactive like it is on web traditional.

Hi Russel,

That is a good idea and, as Marcelo was saying, we have a widget for it in Traditional Web. It makes total sense to make this also available in mobile and reactive. I'll put this idea on our radar so we can track its traction and eventually implement it in the future.

Hello,


My idea is to create a Comment widget like we have in actions and in the MainFlow but regarding a specific screen. 

This Comment widgets should be linked to other widgets like an Expression, for example, as we can see on the image below (and in attachment):

This already exists for web-screen btw.

You are right, this is for mobile only since this widget already exists in web as you mentioned.

A comment UI feature does exist for Web but does not work as described with the ability to 'attach' it to a specific widget.

It would be helpful to be able to leave comments on interfaces, like you can inside of actions.

A place to add comments on UI components like screens/blocks for example that are only visible in Service Studio and not at runtime. Just like how there are comments for actions. This should be collapsible and not take too much space and just an icon that shows that this screen, for example has comments and if clicked it opens the comment

Currently, it is only possible to add comments in the Design Screen in Traditional. It would be great if this functionality were also available for Reactive, as we often need to comment on the interface.
