In the forum Post/comment, I'm unable to get that the item is Liked by us or not. (Same for Dislike).In the below example, You will not find any difference before and after clicking on the Like button. It is just updating a count, but, If I come back here later, I will not get an idea about it.

Currently, when you "like" a post, the icon does not in any way indicate that you have done so.
Showing the icon in a different colour, or disabling it even, will help out with this.

Firstly, you added a comment to an idea already implemented 2 years ago. You can like and dislike on the forums.
So your reply doesn't really add anything to this thread, if you are not explaining why the current like/dislike is in your eyes not a proper solution.
Can you explain why you think the current like/dislike needs improvement?
