OutSystems 11 Popups still using Deprecated_Notify and Deprecated_NotifyGetMessage

Seems that not all is OS11 is using the new webblock event and event handlers feature of OutSystems 11.

Would be nice if we do not have to fall back to the Deprecated Notify and NotifyGetMessage actions for popups in OS11.

Definitely needed. I had expected this to be included too. Would greatly appreciate this feature as soon as time allows

Hi Daniël,

That's a great idea. We are currently working on a new generation of web applications that will use blocks with events, instead of relying on the old notify mechanism.

Just ran into this problem. 

I'm glad to find out this will be fixed in 2019 Q4  (expected).

Hi Daniël,

As you know, we've recently released reactive web applications, a whole new way to create better web apps. In those apps you can use the popup widget and you no longer need to use notify actions.
