Lifetime - Configuration Screen to set for how long Analytics performance history is kept

Lifetime should have a configuration Screen to set the period in weeks or months for the how long the performance history is kept.

This is useful for 2 reasons:

1) Avoid the internal log analytics tables to be clogged up with millions of records, making LT Analytics useless in big factories or others that have millions of requests per month.

2) Improving the user experience while navigating Analytics Screens (if performance history period is short).

Hi Tito,

In order to optimize the performance of LifeTime Analytics, we have introduced in LifeTime 11 the retention period policy of Analytics data (365 days by default). More information here: https://success.outsystems.com/Support/Archive/11/OutSystems_Platform_side_effects_and_breaking_changes

You can tune this parameter to reduce this default retention period.

Let me know if this solves your idea.

I was aware of that already.

Actually I promoted that (through a support case) more than 6 months ago while working for a big OS factory. In factories with a couple of years , Analytics performance would be crippled to a point it wasn't usable anymore.

However, having a "Settings" screen for Administrators to configure these kind of policies still makes sense,

and that is the idea I'm promoting, e.g. instead of changing the OSSYS_PARAMETER table by hand, which is a bit harder for the PaaS cloud.
