To make it simpler the process of cleaning a record list.

PS: I've searched for this idea but did not find anything similar.

Yeah!

Not to say there aren't a lot of useful and cool features in 5.1, but this is missing since forever.

It's not like .NET doesn't already do this so how hard can it be?

Better yet, give us all of the IList interface (minus the GetEnumerator).

Please create an action that will empty the list that is provided to it as a parameter.

Developers are forced to build their own ListReset time and time again, sometimes re-suing same list references in error.
