Do you feel this need mostly for documentation purposes?

Or do you see this tab as a place for developers to collaborate? (In Google docs, we can add comments/notes, eventually assign them to other colleagues)

In my perspective it would mostly be a tool for developers to collaborate, just to have a place to add some reminders, thought processes, things still to implement etc.
So devs can see what's going on in 1 view.

Established rules/conventions

General comments

Etc

Absolutely great idea! Having an extra tab for devs' application/module notes/comments would be a game-changer. It'd centralize info, boost collaboration, and linking code/actions is a bonus. I also saw a great suggestion from another user in the forum about colleague tagging in the comments - it'd be awesome to implement this together for a more efficient workflow. 

Tagging would most certainly be a great addition to this idea. 

It does really help with collaborating with the rest of the team and improve efficiency
