Introduction

In OutSystems Platform 10 it was only possible to configure the deployment zone for a single module in Service Center by changing it in the Operation tab of that module. In Outsystems Platform 11 you can do the same and in addition to that, you can also change the deployment zone for an application by changing it in the Operation tab of that application.

Use case

When you perform a clean Platform Server installation (like we did at a client of ours), the Global zone is by default set up and all the modules are associated with that zone. So now, you would want to create your additional zones (f.e. an Internal zone and a Public zone). Now you have to go through all your applications/modules and change the zone configuration one by one.

Idea

I would like to see a feature in Service Center where I could select a set of applications and also a possibility where I can select a set of modules and change their deployment zone simultaneously by performing a single configuration change.
