Being able to see line numbers when editing CSS/JS files larger than 50 lines is a must. Currently I'm fighting through a 7000 line JS without this feature, and it's really a pain. Thanks community for voting this up and thanks OS for implementing this today :)

Good idea.
I think its a must have feature.
Include line numbers in the CSS Style tabs. When debugging the style with an inspection utiltity (such as Google Chrome Inspect Element), you are given the particular line number the CSS style is on. Having the corresponding line number in OS will make it much easier to find the particular line of code in your CSS for modification.

This seems the same as the following idea:

I agree that this could be very helpful ;)

Noticed the date on this... thought I'd bump it up - line numbers can be quite the necessity, please consider!

I would be nice if I could see the rownumbers in CSS view.

Hi,

whenever we have lots of java script/jquery code in screen/web block than its very hectic to make the changes on particular line number(we have to scroll blindly till our interested code or variable). So if we have line number in that section then it will be easy to go to a particular line number in java script section where we need to make the changes.

Right now I will copy the jquery code in notepad++ and then find the line number in notepad then make the changes.that's very hectic. Please see the attached screen shot.

@sallu That is not the right conclusion. They may implement the idea if there is a real business value to it and thus 80% of the customers ask for it (and how easy it is to implement it actually)

Therefore, the more votes it gets the bigger the chance, but in the end Outsystems decides if they are going to implement it.

@J.-Thanks for info.

Very good!

Merged this idea with 'CSS sheet line numbers' (created on 20 Sep 2018 10:50:27 by André Lopes)

Hi everyone,

It would be great if we had row numbers on the left of the CSS sheet like the "Souces" tab on the inspect element console.

It would be a easy way to find classes on a long Theme CSS sheet.

Cheers.

I think it would be really beneficial if on the CSS tabs there were lines numbers so that navigating to differant sections would be easier when you are trying to locate a certain section on a long CSS.

I would say, line numbers should be at every place we show code.

Hello Horvath,

I’m happy to inform you that your idea was implemented in Service Studio.

Just open a Javascript node editor or a CSS editor, and you'll see the line numbers.

Keep the feedback coming.

Cheers,
