National Delivery of Essential Goods
Working on it

Part of UBT business is the Rapid Response Team (RRT) which is a network of community volunteers that deliver needed goods in national emergencies such as our recent bushfires.

The Australian Govt has asked them to undertake emergency deliveries of basic goods to people who are in isolation due to COVID-19. They need an app to report to the government on performance and a mobile app for the volunteers to direct them to the recipient and provide proof of delivery.

The Govt will fund this. UBT proposes to use the STANDARD OutSystems platform they have just purchased and to buy some additional user licenses.

Pedro Carrilho from Phoenix is building their current app. The customer has asked us if OutSystems has team members available at very short notice to start the design and build of this application. We have asked Pedro also, but the customer doesn't want to distract Phoenix from the important work he is doing on the other apps they are building.

The idea is to build a joint Phoenix/OutSystems/UBT team. The main stakeholders of the application other than volunteers and UBT are the heads of the appropriate govt departments, the State premiers and the prime minister.
