Tag someone in comment

It would be very good If can add someone's name to the comment of post/idea by typing @(Or any other way).

Once typed @, It should list all the people who are in touch with that post/idea.

So, That person will get notified that it is relevant to him.

Hello Ana,

If we want to say something to a specific person (after any comment from him), We need to type his name there explicitly, Sometimes difficult or maybe a spelling mistakes.

So that, It will say that I'm pointing to someone by mentioning his name.

For example, @Ana, As you said...., @Amol, Can you give some detail....

Unlike in other community, We use @<name> to specify someone from the friend list, So that the person will get a notification that someone has mentioned you in a comment, etc.


For better clarity and performance, maybe, You can show a list of only those people who have commented on that post.

And also you can put a link to that person's profile in that tag to check it easily.

In addition, I think it should send him/her a notification that he/she has been tagged.

I see a lot of community members doing the following when posting something on the forum or adding a new idea for example.

When they directly want to address someone, they insert a link to someone's profile page with his/her name as a label like this example of myself: Nordin Ahdi.

So to make this easier, I would like to see the possibility to '@someone' throughout the community pages. This way that person could maybe receive notification messages which could be accessed via their profile page. It would be even cooler to see a Feedback message with that notification if your logged in at outsystems.com.

That is also useful to tag someone that is already known to have good knowledge about a subject and provide a quality reply to that forum topic.
