Tech Debt Webinar Giveaway

Article 1

Nature, Scope and Responsible Entity

OutSystems, Inc., a corporation with its headquarters at 55 Thomson Place 2nd Floor Boston, MA 02210, USA, incorporated in the USA (henceforth designated “Outsystems”), will promote a giveaway during the webinar Best Practices for Avoiding and Fixing Technical Debt, addressed at the webinar attendees (henceforth designated as “Participants”) who follow the provided guidelines (also detailed below), to be held in the EMEA, Americas and APAC territories, via internet, on September 28, 2021 (the “Term”).

Article 2

Procedure

The Participants that follow the provided guidelines will win the Prize described in article 4. The Prize will be offered to all Participants that follow the following guidelines:

  • Participants must attend the live webinar on September 28 according to their regional time zone
  • Participants will be sent an email to submit address where the book is to be shipped and must complete the form within 48 hours of receiving the email
  • Participants must not be a federal employee within the United States
  • Participants must comply with the gifting and gratuity rules within their organization and may opt out accordingly

Each Participant may only win one Prize during the Term.

Article 3

Participation 

Only adult or emancipated people can participate. 

Outsystems reserves the right to exclude or suspend any participation that does not comply with the conditions set out in these terms and conditions (“T&C”).

Participation is possible from September 28, 2021 to October 1, 2021.

Article 4

Award Prize

The Prize consists of a copy of the book “Technical Debt in Practice: How to Find It and Fix It” by Rick Kazman.

Article 5

Processing of Personal Data

Outsystems, acting as controller of the personal data collected from Participants, will only collect personal data strictly necessary for the performance of the rights and obligations arising from these T&C, such as name, e-mail, address, company and job title to verify the identity of Participants and award the prize.

The personal data collected will not be shared with any related entity or third party of Outsystems. After awarding Prizes, Outsystems will, within a reasonable time, delete all personal data.

Article 6

Liability

Outsystems is not liable for any acts or events carried out by third parties that prevent, limit or impair the ability of Participants to complete the form. Outsystems is not liable in any cases of force majeure that prevent the Participants from completing the form. Outsystems excludes any liability for damages of any kind that may be due to the lack of availability or continued operation of electronic communications services and networks and/or other information society service providers.

Article 7

Final Provisions

These Regulations are governed by the Laws of the State of New York and the federal laws of the USA. 

Outsystems reserves the right at any time to supplement, change, modify or suspend any of the provisions of this regulation at any time by making it available in an updated form wherever it is already available.
