OutSystems Named a Leader in G2 Crowd’s Low-Code Development Platforms Grid Report

Sixth Report in Past Two Years Ranks OutSystems in Highest Category for Low-Code Platforms

OutSystems, the number one low-code platform for application development, was named a Leader in the G2 Crowd Low-Code Development Platforms Grid report, with the highest ranking for both customer satisfaction and market presence. OutSystems is ranked highest among 15 vendors and is the Leader for the small business, mid-market and enterprise categories.

G2 Crowd rates platforms algorithmically based on data sourced from product reviews and data aggregated from online sources and social networks. To qualify for inclusion in the low-code development platform category, products must generate source code as a base for customization, allow developers to customize HTML markup and source code, and integrate with databases, web services, or APIs to connect data.

Of the users who reviewed OutSystems, 100 percent rated OutSystems four or five stars, and 100 percent of users believe the platform is heading in the right direction. Furthermore, 94 percent of users said they would likely recommend OutSystems to others.

In fact, one user described OutSystems “as a platform to produce mobile and web apps” for Android and iOS that’s incredibly easy to use. Another user stated that they have “been migrating many ‘old’ applications to Outsystems,” which has been very helpful for adapting to their business needs. Many additional users cited OutSystems as “easy to use” with fast “delivery speed,” which helps developers see quality results quickly and efficiently.

This is the sixth report to name OutSystems a Leader in the last two years. Most recently, in October, OutSystems was named a leader by Forrester in The Forrester Wave™: Low-Code Development Platforms For AD&D Pros, Q1 2019.

“The platform’s tooling to support professional AD&D teams is excellent — broad in application and portfolio management, platform and security administration, and development-process management and deep in troubleshooting and performance management. OutSystems’ strengths make it an oft-mentioned choice and contribute to its high growth rate and expanding roster of customers,” the authors stated in the Forrester report.

Gartner also recognized OutSystems as a leader in its Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Low-Code Application Platforms (2019).
