This project was rewarded with the OutSystems innovation award for Core System Transformations. A perfect example of a mission-critical application built with OutSystems. Global is the largest tyre wholesale in Europe and they rebuilt their complete ERP system in OutSystems. Our Core Layer Testing approach forms the backbone of the regression test set for this ERP landscape and is used across 8 OutSystems teams. When we got there, Global did not have automated regression testing for their releases. There was no testing competence in place. Since our presence, we introduced a testing approach for all OutSystems teams, introducing the testing competence in every Scrum team. Our Core Layer Testing approach is now used by 6 OutSystems teams. Global is able to go to production every 2 weeks and our Core Layer Tests play a vital role in validating these releases.

As one of the largest insurance companies in the Netherlands, a.s.r. rebuilt multiple mission-critical applications in OutSystems. As part of their transition to OutSystems, a.s.r. asked Cerios | Valori to implement a Low Code Test strategy in line with their OutSystems landscape instead of their current high-code test automation solution. For this we used our low code testing tool JOSF and introduced Core Layer Testing. Since our presence, our Core Layer Testing approach is now used by 12 OutSystems teams and is fully integrated in the a.s.r. CI/CD pipelines. A.s.r. is capable of moving to production on a daily basis. Our JOSF scripts play a vital role in the quality assurance within the CI/CD pipelines.

The Rainforest Alliance brought in Valori to help them build and test the next generation of systems to run their certification and traceability platform with OutSystems. With use of Tricentis Tosca, Valori set up a test automation strategy specific to the OutSystems Platform included in RA's CI/CD pipeline.

Maykers is an online platform that facilitates smart connections between farmers and their partners to make the business of farming successful. Valori helped setting up a automated testing strategy for the Maykers platform with the use of Valori's own testing tool JOSF.

With our Core Layer Testing approach, we are able to test OutSystems business logic and data representation directly through OutSystems APIs and increase the speed of test automation. JOSF is the only full automation package for OutSystems apps, covering both the UI, BL and data layers and is fully ready to be implemented in your CI/CD pipelines.
