Keep it Simple in collaboration with TAP, developed an Inflight Entertainment Management System. This application is responsible for getting the available media from Panasonic on a regular basis. The information is then used to create Media Packages containing movies, series, albums, games and radios.
Up until now passengers had no control over what they would see during a flight, with IFE passengers can manage their favorite media on the plane or via the FlyTAP Portal.
Preferences are synchronized seamlessly so that the passenger don’t have to go through the hassle of selecting all their favorite media again on the next flight.
IFE takes one step further in improving the in-flight experience.

Keep It Simple in collaboration with TAP, developed MIRA (Maintenance Invoice and Revenue Accounting) – SIFIDE II Project
MIRA started out as an accounting software but rapidly evolved into a software for aircraft base maintenance services carried out by TAP’s MRO on Airbus aircrafts:
• A checks
• C checks
• Intermediate layovers (6Y)
• D checks (12Y)
• Modifications
• Structural repairs
• Cabin modification and refurbishment
• Stripping and painting
• Sharklet retrofit (A320 fam)
During these services the aircraft owner can follow the maintenance closely via the MIRA Portal and interact with TAP in real-time.
Features such as material and labour approval, material requests, notifications, document uploads and cost tracking are an everyday part of MIRA.
MIRA’s main goal is to make aircraft base maintenance services as transparent as possible to the end customer and to be able to invoice them as soon as everything’s finished, ideally with the aircraft still on site.

Keep it Simple in collaboration with TAP, developed the web component of the TAP Air Portugal Electronic Aircraft Technical Log Book (e-ATLB). The technical book is an aircraft specific document, which details all the maintenance planned and made, as well as the state of the airplane itself.
The Log Book accompanies the airplane at all times (e-version and in paper).
In an effort to modernize what has been an age-old process TAP felt the need to drop the paper format and go digital, thus e-ATLB was born.
The web component integrates with the e-book that accompanies the airplane, allowing real-time monitoring of the state of the aircraft. The web component is also responsible for integrating with several applications in order to allow the monitoring of lag, maintenance (required and planned) and incident occurrence, thus optimizing TAP’s operational planning.

Keep it Simple in collaboration with TAP, developed a Safety Management System (SMS) with the aim of making it easier for the team responsible for safety management at the Maintenance and Engineering Department of TAP to fully control the entire process carried out during the analysis of an incident, covering all its employees and fleets.
This process takes into account the evolution of an incident from report submission to safety occurrence, designated investigation team, proposed action items and implementation monitoring.
Given the need of safety management in knowing at all times which tasks are pending, work is carried out with utmost transparency / visibility.
The focus has always been, to ease the tasks of everyone involved, as well as to be able to follow the evolution of said tasks.
