AI Agent Builder: Enhanced AI Functionality and New Models
The latest version of AI Agent Builder introduces several powerful capabilities:
- Function calling: AI agents with compatible models can now intelligently choose which functions to use. Developers define and make available a list of functions for the agent to choose from. For example, functions to query application data, calculate averages or sums, or filter data from a table. The agent will then tell the system which function to call, including which arguments to use.
- Request dashboard: This new quick-start app allows users to query app data using the new AI agent function capabilities. It simplifies the process of extracting insights from app data, answering questions such as, “List all pending requests”, “Which floor needs new chairs?”, “Who is assigned to request 100004?”
- Support for new Large Language Models: We are excited to introduce support for two new models: Meta Llama 3 (8B and 70B), available through Amazon Bedrock.
