How can I pay for my exam?
The payment of exams can be done using a Credit Card. For cases where candidates do not have one, we recommend creating one via MBway/ MBnet (for Portugal based candidates), or any other virtual platforms that allow you to create credit cards.
Any document you present must be valid, meaning that it cannot have a date past its expiry date. This also means that the document must contain a validity date.
I registered for an exam but my name is not matching my ID document. What should I do?
The name information that shows on the confirmation email, should be exactly the same as presented on the test-takers ID cards, because it is one of the validations that our proctors use to assess a secure environment, confirming that you are the actual person who scheduled the exam that is about to start. Before the exam, make sure to update your OutSystems Community profile information, specifically the name, with the same name that shows on your ID document. In case you have already scheduled your exam, you need to cancel it first (since you cannot change it on the exam appointment) and update your OutSystems Community profile name. Then, register again for the exam, with the correct name.
When I try to look up for my exam to take it, I’m getting an error message and I can’t find it. What should I do?
If you are getting an error message to look up for your exam, it’s because you're trying to access it too early. You can only access your exam on the scheduled date and 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
I can’t register for an exam because it is showing a Reschedule button instead of a Register button. What should I do?
In case you are getting the “Reschedule button”, it is because you already have the exam you’re trying to register for, scheduled. Look up in your email with the subject “Appointment confirmation email”, and there you should see the scheduled date and time. In case you are sure you hadn’t scheduled this already, open a Training support case sharing this issue, the team will solve the issue to re-enable the Register button for you.
I didn’t receive the Appointment confirmation email after I scheduled my exam. What should I do?
Once you finish scheduling your exam, you should receive the email with the subject “Appointment confirmation email” which includes the exam information. If you can’t find it, please check your SPAM folder, since it may be there. I received a voucher and an error message shows up when I try to use it. What should I do?

Where should I use the voucher code received in the registration process?
The voucher code field for you to use will appear on the last screen of the registration process.
I have a voucher with an expiration date. Can I still schedule my exam using this voucher?
In case you have a voucher with an expiration date, you must take the exam until then. For instance, if your voucher expires on December 31st of 2020, you must register, schedule, and take the exam until then. You cannot schedule the exam for after the voucher expiration date.
I’m trying to schedule my exam but I’m not sure if the slots are in AM or PM?
The time format on the scheduling system is 24 hour, not 12 hours. This means that if the slots available are, for example, 04:00 or 04:45, it means these slots are AM. If you want to schedule the exam in the afternoon, the time slots will be displayed as 16h00 or 16:45, for example.
I want to cancel my exam. When can I do it and ensure I get a refund?
To be able to get a refund when canceling the exam, you need to cancel it up to 15 days before the exam’s original scheduled date and time. In case you cancel it within less than 15 days before the exam date, you will not be able to get a refund.
There are no slots available to schedule the exam. What can I do?
When scheduling the exam, be sure to select the 2-week time frame recommended, so you get the maximum number of slots available. You can change the selected start date and choose the best time frame for you, whether it is 1 week or 1 month from the time of scheduling, depending on the availability of slots or the expiration date of the voucher, if they have one.
I want to reschedule my exam. How much time ahead do I have to do it?
To be able to reschedule your exam, you need to do it up to 15 days before the exam’s original scheduled date and time. Rescheduling the exam 14 days ahead of its date, and up to 48 hours ahead, will incur an extra fee of 25 US$. It is not possible to reschedule the exam less than 48 hours before the date, so be sure to do it, if you wish, before that.
I can’t reschedule my exam because I’m getting this error message “Error - We were unable to book your appointment. Please return later to start your appointment selection again”. What should I do?
If you are getting this message, it is because you are trying to reschedule the exam in less than 48 hours before the scheduled date of the exam. According to the reschedule and cancellation policies presented during the scheduling process, you can only reschedule an exam up to 48 hours before the exam scheduled date and time.
For rescheduling or canceling reasons, I’m asked for 4 characters of my last name. My Last name only has 3 characters. Can I still reschedule or cancel my exam?
Yes. By default, all candidates will have a user created with their last name with 4 letters, but since this is up to 4, anyone with 2 or 3 characters will be able to use the 3 letters last name characters and proceed.
Note: Exams cannot be rescheduled/canceled after the date of the original appointment has passed.
What is the confirmation number and how do I have access to it?
The confirmation number, which has 16 numeric characters, is the identification of the exam session you schedule. Once you finish scheduling your exam, you should receive the email with the subject “Appointment confirmation email” which includes this information. How can I change my exam appointment from online/test center to test center/online appointment?
To change your exam appointment to an online/test center, you need to visit Prometric Page, cancel the appointment and register again on the Certification Page, select the option “Remote”/“Certification Center”. Note: To be able to reschedule your exam, you need to cancel up to 48 hours before the exam’s original scheduled date and time. In case try to reschedule it within less than 48 hours before the exam date, and time you will lose your exam shot.
What is the Eligibility Number? How can I have access to it?
If you are being requested the Eligibility Number, it is because you are trying to register for an exam on Prometric's website. Since this is not the point of entry to register for an OutSystems exam, you should go to the OutSystems Certification Page instead to proceed with your registration.
I was not able to do the exam because I don’t have the ProProctor App installed on my computer. Can I reschedule the exam?
