Building Reactive Web Forms
Service Studio version:

This course will get you introduced to forms in reactive web screens to enable users to add or change data in your app. With this introductory course, you will be able to know the basics on how to build a screen with a form, so that end-users can interact with the application data.

What will you learn?

You'll learn how to build detail screens using forms and how we can submit the data introduced by the end-users to the application. You'll also learn how to use several input widgets such as Input, Checkbox, Switch, Dropdown, Button Group, Label and the Form, through a sequence of demos!

What do you need?

You will need the OutSystems Development environment tools available for Windows and macOS.

System requirements can be reviewed here. You will also need access to an OutSystems 11 server (or Personal Environment).

In the "Demo: How To Use the Dropdown Widget" lesson, opened the "Dropdown Widget Demo.oap"  we have a warning (You're exposing a database operation in the client side. Validate the data in a Server Action before changing the database.). Missing the step as how we sholud validate the the data on the server.
