Local Storage

This course will get you introduced to Local Storage and how we can set it up in OutSystems mobile apps to help support offline scenarios.

What will you learn?

You’ll learn how to define Local Storage Entities and how we can leverage the structure of the Database Entities to do so. You will also learn how to fetch data from Local Storage Entities and how those Aggregates work together with other Screen Aggregates that fetch data from the Database. Finally, you will get to know some important best practices to follow when using Local Storage. Demos on how to create these Local Storage Entities and how we can fetch data from them are also included.

What do you need?

Your laptop with Windows 7 or higher and version 11 of the OutSystems Development Environment tools. You will also need access to an OutSystems 11 server (or Personal Environment).

Exercise would be more helpful and pedagogical if it wasn't straight to the point and gave us space to achieve some steps by ourselves.
