This course introduces OutSystems to Java Developers. It provides that introduction by relating tools and practices in the OutSystems Platform to similar tools and practices commonly used with the Java Language.

What will you learn?

You will learn about the available types of projects and templates in each of the Platforms and how they affect the programming model and artifacts that get created. It will also cover how to manage dependencies so we can reference other packages and components as we build, run, and debug applications.

What do you need?

You will need access to an OutSystems 11 server (or Personal Environment) and have the OutSystems Development environment tools installed (Windows or macOS).

System requirements can be reviewed here.

Great class!
very important for the improvement of the trainning.
Very good course for Java developers who want to get into the world of outsystems. Expecting more and detailed sessions, especially on comparison between how a developer implements logic in java code vs implementing the same logic in Outsystems.
