26% of global deaths from COVID-19 are senior citizens (above 60 years old). Like everyone else, senior citizens need supplies (food, medicines, etc) to last the global quarantine. The challenge is grocery delivery services are currently over burdened due to quarantine and pricey to engage. This app links up senior households with youthful good samaritans.
The youth will announce (geo-based) that they are going on a supply run. Seniors can send their supply list (grocery, medicine, food, etc) and pay for their bill (via cash or payment gateway). The youth can accept the booking and purchase the supplies. The deliveries can be dropped off at the door step and a notification can be sent to the senior. They can scan the receipts and get a rating from the seniors for the service delivered. UI/UX will be key for the senior user.
At the moment, Via Appia Philippines has a pool of OS developers that can create the app.
