Fix the Ifs breaking layouts in Service Studio
Created on 09 Feb
Mariano Picco
3
Service Studio is supposed to be a WYSIWYG IDE. However, when working with things displayed in conditional situations, the layouts tend to shrink, resize, warp, or whatever else, breaking the preview. Example: This search with filters section is something very common to be found in many apps. This is a screenshot from the preview in Service Studio, and matches exactly what renders on the website after publishing. However a requirement came up to hide the bottom two under a role check, wrapping them in an If to only display them if they come up True: If published, rendered it looks fine, but the preview in Service Studio breaks There are some tricks; wrap the If in a container, put an empty container in the False branch... but those are just workarounds which shouldn't be necessary (and sometimes, as in the screenshots, they don't work) The idea, in short, is: make Service Studio render the contents as the CSS rules say it will render, If or no If

AI Mentor Studio| Ability to reassign users in alerts
Created on 11 Feb 2025
Vanessa Santo
14
The AI Mentor Studio is already very powerful but we always look for new ways to make it even more helpful. Currently, alerts are assigned to the last person who modified an element. However, in some cases, the alert is triggered due to changes made by someone else. Adding an option to manually reassign alerts would help ensure they are directed to the most relevant person. Hopefully these suggestions will be taken into consideration :) Cheers, Vanessa Espírito Santo

ODC Deployments

In ODC - we should have the option to add a folder to app applications into it. Then when deploying you just select that folder with the multiple applications in it and that folder will then queue each application one by one to deploy. If there are warnings or errors on the deployment then it should warn the user. But the whole process of deploying single applications at a time is not very friendly. I do not think that by having the folder you will change the architecture. It is just automating a process

Generate the Structure/Widget Tree from a HTML
Created on 27 Feb
Luis Machado

With AI being our right hand and helping us with a lot of the product management/vision, it could be possible to create a standard widget structure in the widget tree from a HTML. Use Case: 1 - Use favourite LLM 2 - Generate mockup (using OSUI as theme for the generation - better results) 3 - Copy HTML 4 - Right click screen in ODC/O11 5 - "Build Widget Tree from HTML" 6 - The screen is populated with a bunch of widgets that respect the html

Support Case-Insensitive URL Query Parameters
Created on 14 Apr
João Santos
2
The Problem: Currently, OutSystems web application screen parameters are case-sensitive. If a browser receives a URL with incorrect casing, the input parameter is not recognized. For example: .../Screen/? UserId =123 works, but .../Screen/? userid =123 fails to receive the variable Current Solution (not ideal): Fallback method, that reads the current parameters and corrects them if needed, but this is not ideal and it can lead to issues. Read about it here . Proposed Solution: Since Service Studio already prevents duplicate variable names with different casings (you cannot have both "UserId" and "userid"), the platform should automatically map URL parameters to screen variables regardless of casing. This would ensure that internal assignments are recognized even if the incoming URL casing varies.

OS11 Cloud Conversion Assessment Tool
Created on 19 May

Hi OS Team, Why don't we have Conversion Assessment Tool for Cloud? I think this will be beneficial for some of the companies who has a Lift and Shift from On-Prem App to Cloud. As currently some of the companies who have On-Prem Setup has issues on installing the Conversion Assessment Tool on their environment.

Ultimate Goal: This application has the ultimate goal to reduce chaos through the population and help sort who should and who shouldn’t go to the hospitals.Drivers:On March 16th, 2020, in Portugal, there were 331 confirmed cases. From these, only 29 had breathing difficulties, therefore, only 29 persons needed hospital assistance.Doctors and nurses are among the most infected segment and as time goes by, less and less will be available to help people at the hospitalsHospitals are running out of tests, therefore the screening is increasingly importantHospitals are already overloaded and as people are getting more worried, and with the exponential growth that is happening, hospitals tend to be even more overloaded.Linha de saúde 24 is getting overloaded and it won't be enough to answer all the calls. This app would be a mobile one, where every family would be able to insert:Family member detailsMeasurements (pain/no pain, body temperature, etc.)Medication takenEach family member should be able to add some measurement records. According to that, and following the Saúde 24 script, they would be suggested to:Do nothing as everything looks OKTake some medicineSend an email do Saúde 24Make a phone call to Saúde 24Online chat with a doctor or nurse that can help themMore information (details and risks shared in the attachment)

Just like Service Studio, it would be great to have an auto-update feature in Integration Studio as well. This would streamline the upgrade process and ensure consistency across tools.

Select/Deselect ALL, differences to merge
Created on 29 Jan 2015
Esmee Waller

In service studio versions prior to version 9 it was possible to select/deselect all differences to merge at once, by clicking on the top checkbox in the list of the Foreign eSpace. That checkbox is no longer present in version 9.It would be great to have this feature back.
