Please can we have the option to clear a date picker that's native to the widget itself. Like the Dropdown search widget does

Improve Developer Experience with Offline Support and Live Preview in Service Studio
Created on 02 Apr
Ali Nisar
2
I would like to suggest two improvements that would significantly enhance the developer experience in OutSystems. Offline Development Support Currently, development requires a stable internet connection. In real-world scenarios (e.g., working while commuting or in low-connectivity environments), this becomes a major limitation. It would be highly beneficial to have an offline mode that allows developers to continue working on applications locally and sync changes once the connection is restored. Similar capabilities exist in other low-code platforms and greatly improve productivity. Real-Time UI Preview Without Publishing At the moment, verifying UI changes requires publishing the application, which slows down iteration. A real-time preview feature within Service Studio, where developers can instantly see UI/UX changes without publishing, would significantly speed up development and improve the overall workflow. Both features would reduce friction in daily development, improve efficiency, and align OutSystems with modern development expectations.

List TODO: comments on Architecture Dashboard
Created on 25 Jul 2022

Developers can leave comments on screens and action flows. Currently, there is no overall view of TODO: (work to be executed). It would be nice if ArchDashboard would list TODO: comments per module, so that no TODO get's overlooked.

Enable REST API Authentication credentials with site properties/Settings
Created on 06 Oct 2024

Right now, when we want to consume REST API with authentication (Auth2 or Basic), we should add the credentials manually and hard coded. But if we should use the same credentials for different API, we should have the ability to configure these credentials as Site Properties. With that, we can manage the credentials only once for all the API's.

Can restrict double click on button
Created on 13 May 2025

Instead of manually restricting double-clicks using local variables or JavaScript, it would be more efficient to have built-in protection against double-clicks as a default behavior or as an optional property on the Button widget.

Introduce a native OutSystems AI for secure project implementation
Created on 03 Nov 2025

It would be great if OutSystems could provide its own AI solution, similar to Neo, to help developers implement AI-driven features securely within the platform. Relying on third-party AI integrations often raises concerns about data privacy and security. By offering a native OutSystems AI, customers would gain greater confidence that their data remains protected while still benefiting from AI capabilities such as automation, prediction, and chat-based assistance all managed securely within the OutSystems ecosystem.

Feature Request: Add Provider Parameter Support for Bedrock Inference Profiles in ODC
Created on 16 Jun
Bintang Pradana
1
We are trying to use a Bedrock Inference Profile instead of specifying the foundational model ID directly. Our goal is to track Bedrock model usage via AWS cost allocation tags. However, when we use an inference profile ARN instead of a model ID, we get the following error: Couldn't establish a connection to the provider Endpoint 'arn:aws:bedrock:us-east-1::application-inference-profile/' failed to establish the connection with the provider. Error code: 404 Error message: BedrockException - Bedrock Invoke HTTPX: Unknown provider=None, model=arn:aws:bedrock:us-east-1::application-inference-profile/. Try calling via converse route - `bedrock/converse/`.. (OS-ABPS-40009) We ran into a similar issue with LangChain, which we resolved by explicitly passing a provider parameter. In LangChain, provider is optional because it can be inferred from the model ID or ARN, but when using an inference profile ARN, the provider information cannot be derived from the ARN alone, so it must be supplied explicitly. We suspect the same root cause applies in ODC, but ODC does not appear to expose an option to specify the model provider. I suggest to add this feature in ODC.

Hello,It would be interesting to have a way to export the warnings list of the eSpaces in the Service Center, in order to identify issues that must be resolved, especially security.Regards,Diana Milheiro

Display ODC Components in the My Assets Section of Forge
Created on 08 Oct 2025
Murali Manoharan V
5
Currently, components created under ODC are not listed in the My Assets section of Forge — only O11 assets are visible. Additionally, when selecting both “My Assets” and “ODC” in the filter, it still shows all ODC assets instead of only the ones created by the logged-in user. It would be great to fix the filter and include ODC components under the My Assets section to maintain consistency and help developers easily track their contributions.
