Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – OutSystems to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade low‑code applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands‑on OutSystems expertise with leadership, architectural thinking, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

1. Lead end‑to‑end OutSystems application development, from requirements analysis to deployment and support
2. Define technical architecture, design standards, and best practices for OutSystems solutions
3. Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of applications

Development & Delivery

1. Design and develop complex OutSystems applications using reactive and/or traditional web apps
2. Integrate OutSystems with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third‑party tools
3. Perform code reviews, technical reviews, and ensure adherence to platform best practices

Team & Stakeholder Management

1. Mentor and guide OutSystems developers and junior engineers
2. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
3. Provide technical input for estimations, planning, and delivery timelines

Governance & Support

1. Manage application lifecycle using OutSystems Service Center and Lifecycle Management
2. Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis
3. Support CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 7+ years of overall application development experience
2. 4+ years of hands‑on experience with OutSystems (Reactive and/or Traditional Web)
3. Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, performance tuning, and security best practices
4. Experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale solutions

Proficiency in:

1. SQL and database design
2. REST/SOAP web services
3. JavaScript, CSS (for UI extensions/custom logic)
4. Experience with application integration, authentication, and role-based access control
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Good to Have

1. OutSystems Certifications (Associate / Professional / Expert)
2. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
3. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools
4. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
5. Domain experience in banking, insurance, telco, or enterprise platforms
