Position Overview 

We are looking for experienced OutSystems professionals to join a high-performing delivery squad responsible for designing and delivering a digital quote journey for Direct customers in the insurance domain.

The solution will enable applicants to digitally submit enquiry details to initiate the application process for a High-Net-Worth (HNW) home insurance product. The platform will integrate with external data providers, such as AddressCloud, to retrieve specialist quote-related information including home rebuild values.

The application will also integrate with internal Policy Administration and API integration platforms to support downstream operational and outbound telephony processes, enabling applications to progress seamlessly to full quote generation.

• Deliver an intuitive and high-quality digital quote journey for HNW customers
• Demonstrate early working solutions within short delivery timelines
• Integrate with external and internal backend systems to enable seamless fulfilment processes
• Establish a scalable and iterative delivery approach for future enhancements

Job Details

• Around 7 years of hands-on experience in OutSystems application development with strong expertise in OutSystems framework components, tools, best practices, and Domain-Driven Architecture standards.
• Strong ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs and development deliverables.
• Experience in integrating OutSystems applications with external systems, including REST API design and development.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Prior experience in digital channel applications (B2C and B2B), delivering Traditional and Reactive Web Applications, will be an added advantage.
• Experience with ODC (OutSystems Developer Cloud).
• OutSystems certification is mandatory.
• Prior experience working with insurance companies will be an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

3 Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in OutSystems application development and architecture.
• Expertise in REST API integration and system integrations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with OutSystems certification.

Experience Range: 7-10 years
