Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior OutSystems Developer to join Team and lead the development of enterprise-grade low-code applications. This role combines technical expertise with mentorship responsibilities, helping to build both innovative solutions and our people's capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex OutSystems applications
- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions following OutSystems Architecture Canvas
- Mentor and guide junior developers in OutSystems best practices
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure code quality standards
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads on system design
- Optimize application performance and resolve complex technical issues
- Drive technical innovation and evaluate new OutSystems features
- Participate in pre-sales activities and solution design discussions
- Manage technical delivery within project timelines and quality standards
- Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in OutSystems
- OutSystems Professional Developer certification (or higher)
- Strong expertise in OutSystems architecture patterns and best practices
- Proven experience in full-cycle application development
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, database design, and optimization
- Experience with API integration (REST, SOAP) and external system connectivity
- Strong understanding of security principles and data protection
- Experience leading development teams or mentoring developers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- OutSystems Architecture Specialist or Expert certification
- Experience with OutSystems Reactive Web and Mobile applications
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience across multiple industry sectors (Public Service, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.)
- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or similar)
