Senior OutSystems Developer (Mobile / Reactive)
*THE CANDIDATE MUST BE BASED IN LISBON
The consultant will join a large-scale international program within a digital team responsible for delivering and maintaining customer-facing platforms in a multi-country environment (15+ countries).
The scope includes:
- Selfcare applications (mobile and web)
- B2B e-commerce platforms (web)
- User provisioning solutions
All applications are built using OutSystems, with strong expectations in terms of performance, scalability, and reliability.
The team operates in an Agile (Scrum) environment, with close collaboration between IT and business teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain OutSystems Reactive and Mobile applications
- Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions
- Ensure performance optimization and scalability
- Handle complex debugging and issue resolution
- Participate in impact analysis for new features and changes
- Work on mobile capabilities and integrations (native features)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, product, IT)
Technical Environment:
- OutSystems 11 (Reactive & Mobile)
- JavaScript (advanced usage required)
- CSS / Front-end optimization
- Oracle Database / SQL / PL-SQL
- Mobile integrations (Cordova / Capacitor)
- OutSystems Lifetime
- Agile / Scrum methodology
Focus areas:
- Performance tuning
- Security best practices
- Offline capabilities (mobile apps)
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience on OutSystems (Reactive / Mobile)
- Strong experience in:
- JavaScript (advanced level)
- SQL / Oracle (query optimization, data modeling)
- Solid knowledge of:
- Reactive patterns
- Mobile development (OutSystems)
- Application lifecycle (Lifetime)
- Experience with:
- Cordova plugins (integration, maintenance, wrapping)
- App deployment (App Store / Google Play)
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have:
- Angular / TypeScript
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing
- Cloud environments
- Exposure to ODC / Capacitor
- Basic knowledge of French
