OutSystems Developer (1 Year Contract)

We are looking for a OutSystems Developer (Consultant) with strong hands-on experience in OutSystems to design, develop and deliver scalable digital applications. You will work closely with cross-functional Scrum teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, covering user interfaces, workflows, integrations, business logic and data models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy applications using OutSystems, covering user interfaces, business logic, workflows, integrations and data models.
• Develop scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with established technical and platform standards.
• Build automated workflows, forms and screen flows that provide intuitive, accessible and responsive user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technically feasible solutions.
• Deliver features through the full Agile sprint lifecycle, including development, code reviews, testing and deployment.
• Manage application deployment lifecycles and monitor application performance, resilience and reliability.
• Identify platform limitations and technical constraints, escalating technical concerns to the Lead Engineer and delivery risks to the Project Manager.
• Integrate applications with existing and legacy systems while supporting the transition towards modern digital platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including application specifications, integration details and support materials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of OutSystems development experience.
• OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer certification or higher.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Experience across the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment and support.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with DevOps practices.
• Experience developing or supporting government or public-sector digital products.
• Experience integrating legacy systems with modern application platforms.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, application architecture, security, performance and maintainability.

Good to Have

• Experience working with the GovTech technology stack or Singapore Government digital platforms.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Government ICT policies, standards and development practices.
• Experience modernising or integrating applications involving legacy technologies and systems.
• Experience integrating applications with AI or machine learning services.
