Position Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior OutSystems Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, governance, development oversight, and delivery of enterprise-scale low-code applications using OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).
• The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in OutSystems solution architecture, enterprise application design, workflow automation, integrations, reusable components, Center of Excellence (CoE) governance, CI/CD, security, data processing, and technical delivery leadership.
• The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, developers, integration teams, DevOps teams, and project leadership to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and reusable low-code solutions.
• The role will also drive architecture standards, reusable frameworks, governance processes, deployment practices, and emerging automation capabilities including Agentic AI-enabled workflows and intelligent process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end OutSystems solution architecture for enterprise web, mobile, workflow, integration, and ODC applications.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable application architecture, integration patterns, security models, reusable components, and deployment strategies.
• Lead architecture and technical design workshops with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, integration teams, and enterprise architects.
• Establish and govern OutSystems Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, including project intake, architecture reviews, development standards, reusable templates, deployment governance, and technical playbooks.
• Define reusable application templates, screen templates, workflow components, services, integration adapters, and common enterprise patterns.
• Provide architecture oversight across multiple concurrent OutSystems applications and transformation initiatives.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards, maintainability, performance, security, and development best practices.
• Guide development teams during implementation, troubleshooting, testing, UAT, production deployment, and post-production support.

• Develop role- and persona-based workflows for internal and external users.
• Enable email-based approvals and automated workflow actions.

• Identify opportunities for intelligent automation and workflow optimization.

• Enterprise Integration Architecture
• The architect should have strong hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations with enterprise and cloud platforms, including: REST / SOAP APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Salesforce, AWS S3, AWS Redshift Data API, Databricks APIs, Power BI APIs and datasets, SQL Server, ERP systems, SharePoint, Shared mailboxes, Payment gateways, Identity providers and enterprise authentication services
• The role should be comfortable designing integration services, error handling, retry mechanisms, API security, high-volume integrations, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing. These technologies align directly with the integration stack listed in the attached profile.

• Architect secure authentication and authorization models for OutSystems applications.

• Identify opportunities to incorporate Agentic AI and AI-assisted automation within enterprise business applications.
• Design solutions for intelligent reminders, workflow follow-ups, action-item generation, and process automation.
• Evaluate AI use cases within OutSystems and ODC solutions while maintaining enterprise security and governance.
• Collaborate with AI, architecture, and business teams to establish reusable AI-assisted workflow patterns.
• Support adoption of emerging low-code AI capabilities.

Delivery & Stakeholder Management
