SLA Utils -Due date, Business elapsed time calculator

To use this service, Calendar needs to be configured.

  1. Install this SLA utils application on your environment.
  2. Create an end user screen to create/manage the calendars or Use the forge component Calendar admin application.
  3. Once you configure the business calendar just like in the above image. You're all set to use the SLA utils services.

SLA utils server actions:

Business Due Date Calculator

  • Calculates the due date for tasks or requests based on the organization's defined working hours and days.
  • For example, a ticket has been created with the TAT time of 60 minutes on Friday 09-08-2024 evening 18:30, as per the business calendar Saturday and Sunday are non working days and working hours 9:30 to 18:30. then the due date should be on 12-08-2024 10:30 AM 

Business Elapsed Time Calculator

  • Calculates the elapsed time between two dates, considering the business working hours and days.
  • This action will be useful to display the Elapsed time, Left time on ticket dashboard.
  • For example, as per the business calendar Saturday and Sunday are non working days and working hours 9:30 to 18:30.

Reverse Business Due Date Calculator

  • This is to calculate the due date from the actual end date of an ticket. 
  • For example the due date of a ticket is 16-08-2024 and a reminder mail should be sent just 2 days prior to the due date. in this case, as per the business calendar Saturday and Sunday are non working days and working hours 9:30 to 18:30 and 15-08-2024 is a holiday.
  • Then the reminder mail should be sent on 13-08-2024,

Working Day Check Action

  • Checks if a specific date falls on a business working day.
