Lunar Challenge is a multiplayer team-building and decision-making game based on NASA’s classic Survival on the Moon exercise.
Designed as an interactive OutSystems app, it helps groups practice communication, collaboration, and consensus-building through an engaging space-themed experience.
🚀 Overview
Your crew has made an emergency landing on the Moon, far from the mother ship.
Only a handful of survival items remain intact — and it’s up to your team to decide which ones are most important for reaching safety.
Players must first rank items individually, then work together as a crew to agree on a shared prioritization.
At the end, the results are compared with the official NASA expert ranking, showing how close the group came to the ideal survival strategy.
🧩 Game Flow
Join or Create a Base
One player acts as the Host (Mission Commander) and creates a Base.
Other players join using the Base Code.

Each player ranks the survival items privately.
The goal: decide which items are most critical for survival on the Moon.
