Overview

The Floor Plan component provides a visual editor for drawing simple 2D floor plans directly inside an OutSystems application.

End users can:

• Draw walls and rooms
• Place doors and windows
• Edit room details
• View calculated room areas

The component is intended to be used as a reusable UI block embedded in any screen.

Features

• Drawing tools:
  • Wall
  • Room
  • Door
  • Window
• Draw Mode toggle (edit vs. view mode)
• Snap to Grid for precise alignment
• Clear All to reset the entire plan
• Room list displaying:
  • Room name
  • Calculated area (e.g., 75 m²)
• Room Information panel for editing selected room details
