BluKavantUI Charts Community brings eight chart types to OutSystems 11 Reactive Web: Sparkline, LineChart, BarChart, PieChart, DoughnutChart, ScatterChart, RadarChart and Heatmap.
The package contains Charts Core and Charts Community. Native Blocks accept typed Structures and Lists, so applications can map Aggregate or Data Action results to chart inputs and handle interactions through Client Actions. Charts Core provides shared chart contracts and commands for resizing, highlighting and exporting the full charts.
Full charts include configurable legends, Light and Dark appearance, loading and empty states, optional patterns, readable data tables, keyboard selection and PNG/SVG export. Sparkline uses a lightweight SVG renderer for compact trend displays and has its own inputs and events. Full charts use Apache ECharts; its license and third-party notices are preserved.
Install BluKavantUI Community first, or ensure its compatible Community Core library is present. Inherit BluUICommunityTheme, reference the chart Block and its Core types, bind your application data and wire the events described in the chart’s OutSystems implementation guide. Chart Blocks include their runtime and styles.
The separate Community demo uses BluKavantUI themes and components, with no OutSystems UI, OutSystems Charts, OutSystems Maps or Pro dependency.
Community is free for personal, internal and commercial end-user applications under the BluKavantUI Community Free Use, Official Distribution Licence 1.2. No Pro subscription or license key is required. The license allows private modification and restricts redistribution of the reusable library; third-party licenses remain applicable. 1. Scope and official source
This licence covers Blutek Media's original code, styles, components, examples
and documentation included in BluKavantUI Community (the Software), including its
OutSystems and TypeScript forms. It does not cover the separate Pro
components identified in the edition manifest or third-party material identified in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt.
Authorized public distribution sources are:
- Blutek Media's official BluKavantUI website at https://blukavantui.blutekmedia.com;
- the official @blukavantui/community package published by Blutek Media on the
npm public registry at https://www.npmjs.com/package/@blukavantui/community;
- Blutek Media's official Community listing on OutSystems Forge, linked from
the official website, when that listing is published.
Obtain the Software from these official sources. A similarly named package,
listing, fork or public mirror published by another party is not an official
source. Identifying a source here does not promise that a release is currently
available there.
2. Free use and private modification
If you obtain the Software from an official source identified above and comply with these
terms, Blutek Media grants you a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence
to install, inspect, copy and modify it to develop and operate your own personal,
internal or commercial end-user applications. You may retain private backups
and use private repositories and build systems for that permitted work.
Private package-manager caches and internal registry proxies may retain copies
obtained from an official source solely for that permitted work. They must
preserve the accompanying licence and notices and must not make the reusable
Software available to the public or to unrelated organizations.
Employees and contractors may access those private copies only to work on your
behalf, subject to these restrictions. They receive no independent right to
redistribute the Software. Each separate client or organization using editable
Community components must obtain its own copy from an official source identified above.
You may customize that client's own copy on its behalf.
3. End-user applications
You may host, sell and deliver finished end-user applications that incorporate
the Software. Delivering the runtime JavaScript, CSS and other built assets
needed to run those applications, including serving them to a browser, is
permitted. This exception does not permit distributing a reusable component
library, development kit, template product or editable Community module.
Your application code and data remain yours. This licence does not require
publishing your application source or displaying a BluUI badge in its interface.
Preserve this licence and applicable copyright and third-party notices in
copies, private source and distribution materials where required.
4. Redistribution restrictions
Except for the private work and end-user runtime delivery expressly permitted
above, you may not publish, upload, mirror, share, sublicense, sell or otherwise
redistribute the Software, its source, its reusable modules or substantial
portions of them, whether unchanged or modified. This includes other Forge
listings, public repositories, npm or other package registries, websites,
download archives and direct transfers of the reusable package to third parties.
Do not rebrand a copy or remove notices to misrepresent its origin.
Only Blutek Media may publish the official Community distribution, through
the official sources identified above. These restrictions on recipients do not
limit the rights granted to npm or OutSystems under their applicable service
or publishing agreements. Those providers may host, copy, cache, analyze and
distribute the official releases as authorized by those agreements, including
through the infrastructure used to provide their services. This exception does
not authorize other parties to publish a separate package, fork or public mirror.
Linking people to the official listing is permitted. Redistribution outside
these permissions requires separate written permission from Blutek Media.
5. Third-party rights and ownership
Third-party software retains its own licences. In particular, AG Grid Community
and AG Stack retain their MIT permissions, including redistribution rights.
Nothing here restricts those permissions or independently developed code.
Blutek Media and its licensors retain ownership of their respective existing
material. Modifications do not transfer ownership of the underlying Software.
No trademark rights or rights to Pro components are granted. Pro components are
FormBuilder, FormRenderer, Full Grid, ImageAnnotator, DataImportWizard,
MatrixEditor, FilterBuilder, ProjectTimeline and Kanban. Basic Grid is Community.
This is a source-available licence with redistribution restrictions, not an
MIT, BSD or open-source licence for Blutek Media's material.
6. Warranty, support and continuing rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided "as is",
without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or
noninfringement. Blutek Media is not liable for loss or damage arising from its
use to the extent such liability may lawfully be excluded. Mandatory rights
and liabilities that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
No support, service level or future updates are promised. You are responsible
for testing your finished application and modifications. Blutek Media may
terminate these permissions for a material breach not remedied within 30 days
after written notice. Later website or licence changes do not retroactively
replace the terms accompanying a copy already lawfully obtained.

Third-party components retain their respective licenses. Apache ECharts is licensed under Apache License 2.0; its bundled subcomponents may carry additional license terms. BluKavantUI’s restrictions do not override these third-party rights.
