Details

This is a simple IP Address API for getting the Internet-facing address of the front-end server on which the action is running. Currently, it only returns IPv4 addresses, but IPv4 and IPv6 addresses can be used for the geo metadata lookup.

SeeIP is a simple IP address API that returns the Internet address of the calling server.

You can use it without any absolute limit.
It's open source and 100% free to use.
It will always be online and secure.
No user information is ever logged, no matter what. SeeIP value privacy.

Please note that the IP location database, which for this API is Maxmind, may not contain all information about a given IP. In this case, only the available data is displayed.

The REST endpoint has been fixed due to a name change by SeeIP (thanks to Daniel Martins).
The GetServerIP server action has been set to be a function.
The SeeIPResponse structure has been updated to include an (Autonomous System Number)
A new CheckIPGeo action has been added to enable IPv4 and IPv6 lookups of geo information.
Corresponding service actions have been added.
A demo app was added.
Icons refreshed.
