What can I do if the exam doesn't lauch?

I was able to do the check-in for the exam. The proctor asked me to show my house and my desk.

After that, the proctor told me that the exam would be launched automatically but it didn’t. After 2 minutes I talked to the proctor and the proctor told me I should exit the exam and contact the support team in order to sort the issue out.

I contacted Prometrics trough the live chat but nothing helped. They just wanted to open a case ticket and told me to contact Outsystems as they are the sponsors for this exam voucher. I also tried calling the support line for Europe(number didn´t work), Portugal(number didn´t work also) and International. On the international number, my call was transfered 3 to 4 times, sometimes sent back to the start of the automated answering system or it was disconnected. Around 30 euros were spent on roaming expenses (won´t even mention how much of that money was spent waiting to be transferred or hearing a recorded message).

I was finally asked to contact my sponsor. I send an email to OutSystems Training training@outsystems.com and I got the message: "The email account you are trying to reach no longer exists."

My exam was scheduled for 14h00. It is currently 16h20 and I am still unable to take my exam. No contact from Prometrics or from Outsystems has happened in order to find a solution for this matter.

Hi,

Please go ahead and create the support ticket. I encountered the same issues but was able to resolve them by contacting support.

Hello Ana.

Manikandan is correct. Training support is now on the Support portal  like everything else, not email. That message you got should say it.

Regarding Prometric issues:

-the general rule is if on the first try they take more than 15-20 minutes to join you, you can just exit and reenter as it can be a bug. Don't do it a second time as they may be at full capacity and you would just be losing your place on queue. At this time of year (when so many vouchers expire) I believe that is the situation.

-When the proctor finally talks with you, everything is being recorded. So if the exam fails to load, the person disappears or something like that, there is a trail to follow. That is when OS Support can step in to make them accountable.

Unless you picked an exam you couldn't do because the exam is no longer available or you somehow lost the requirements (I don't think any of those is the case) you have good chances.
