Outsystems Associate Developer (O11) Exam Questions

Hi Guys

I know this question has been repeated in this forum lots of times, but I feel like the responses to those questions are outdated and can't help us anymore.

I'm studying to do the Associate Developer (O11) certification and I was looking to see some questions to pratice for the exam. I've done the course "Becoming a web developer", but I would like to have more things so I can be fully prepared for the exam. The posts that I saw most of them have links to questions that don't work anymore and right now we are left with the quizlets (some of them only have the questions and the answers and now the options to get to the answer) and the practice exam outsystems gives us.

I would like your help or your opinion on the route I should follow to do this exam because at this point I feel like I'm not fully prepared and I'm afraid that the questions on the exam could be harder than the ones on the practice test

Thanks

for exam preparation there are lot of resources available in Outsystems community itself. But if you wanna take some extra inputs for the exam you can refer to Quizlet where you can learn and attain mock exams.

Hi Bernardo,

You’re not alone — many of us preparing for the O11 Associate Developer certification have felt the same way. It’s true that some of the old links and quizlets are outdated, but here’s a more effective and structured approach that’s working well for recent candidates:

1. Official OutSystems Learning Paths

  • Go through the OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer Path — this is the most up-to-date and closely aligned with the exam.
  • Focus on modules like:
    • Data Modeling
    • Logic & UI Development
    • Client & Server Actions
    • Aggregates and Filters
    • Entities and Relationships
    • Security Roles

2. Practice with the OutSystems Guided Paths

  • Use OutSystems Training App (available in your personal environment) to build small apps and reinforce your learning.
  • Work on small exercises like building a list screen, implementing search, and creating a form with validation.

3. Mock Exams & Real Scenarios

  • OutSystems provides a practice exam — take it and understand each answer thoroughly.
  • Work on hands-on practice rather than just memorizing questions.

4. Join the OutSystems Discord/Slack groups

  • There are active study groups and mentors who can help with latest mock questions and explain concepts.

5. Focus More on Understanding than Memorization

  • The actual exam tests your practical knowledge, not just theory.
  • Questions may include real scenarios (e.g., when to use client vs server actions, what to use in a performance-sensitive situation, etc.)
